Two smoothies



Green: spinach, mango, apple, Chia Seeds, water.

Pink: blueberries, banana, avocado, orange and pineapple juice.

  1. I’ve been seeing chia seeds all over the blogosphere and on Instagram but are they tasty? Not even sure why everyone is mad for them…

  2. They’re great sources of protein and omegas 6 & 9. As for taste, I haven’t tried them on their own, only ever chucked them in smoothies. No strong or even discernable taste. Good energy givers 🙂

    1. Ah, ok. I think I was getting confused as I keep seeing chia seed puddings so made an automatic assumption that they were sweet and that people were using them as a sweetener. I’m clearly out of the superfood loop!

  3. They swell up dramatically and look like tapioca in some of those puds, but I think they’re the tofu of the seed world flavourwise.
