Loanhead of Daviot stone circle, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Stone circles in Aberdeenshire are unique in that they usually have one large recumbent stone made of differing stone to the other upright stones. It is often aligned to the rising or sometimes the setting of the full moon.
